Music Ministry
JPG Missionary Baptist Church has an established Music Ministry with a tradition of excellence. Music is an important and integral part of JPG. Our mission is to provide choir, praise and worship, and gospel music for church service and speical events. We hope to make each service a special event in our church, to the praise and glory of God.

As a JPG member, you have the opportunity to be part of one of our most dynamic ministries in the church.

Usher’s Ministry
The ministry of Ushering is a vital part of our church ministry. Ushers represent the church in a very visible way, and help set the tone in preparation for the worship service, as well as assist with the smooth operation within the service.
The Young Adults provide ushering services on the first Sundays, Seniors provide ushering services on the second Sundays, Youth provide ushering services on the third Sundays and Males provide ushering services on the fourth Sundays of each month. The rotating system is used on the fifth Sundays
The Goal of the Usher Department
To make the members and visitors feel comfortable and lend spiritual dignity to the church services. Ushering is not just another job in the church, but rather one of the most important and rewarding services one can perform.
“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness” (Psalms 84:10).
Women’s Ministry

First Aid Ministry
Medical Front Line
The members of this committee deliver first aid as the provision of initial care for an illness or injury. Only persons with certifications in areas of life saving shall perform duties as such.
First Aid is performed by a member of the first aid committee to a sick or injured casualty until definitive medical treatment can be accessed. Certain self-limiting illnesses or minor injuries may not require further medical care past the first aid intervention.
Deacon’s Ministry
The Role of the Deacon
New Testament Deacons serve the Lord by conducting the caring ministry of the church-doing the benevolence work, visiting the sick, being alert to the spiritual needs of the congregation-for the purposes of freeing the pastoral staff to focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word, promoting unity within the church, and facilitating the spread of the gospel.
