Beautiful 24K Gold on Sterling Silver Commemorative 8" Plate. Second photo more clearly shows the plate.
The set has been in the family's possession and has been stored as a set in the original boxes and cases. Each plate in the series is serialized with #3653 out of 7500 produced.
The plates have been stored in original tarnish-resistant pouches, each inside the original padded red-satin display case with magnetic closure, within the matching red storage box. The plates are in mint condition, with all of the decorative gold etchings intact. The plates have some noticeable tarnish marks in areas, despite how carefully they have been stored. Included with the set are the original Danbury Mint registration certificates and letters to the plate owner.
