This is the helmet mounting bracket for the AN/PVS-20B ENVG. The mount accepts the universal mounting bracket used on the ENVG lowering arm and has power terminals on the plate that connect to the arm. There is a wire that runs from the mounting bracket to the other portion of the mount. The other portion of the mount mounts to the back of compatible helmets and is where the battery pack for the ENVG is attached. The battery mount has terminals for the battery pack to interface with. The wire is meant to run on the underside of the helmets it is mounted to, to keep it from becoming damaged. The mount includes a ratcheting strap for mounting the hardware with having to use the screws as well.
Battery compartment for continued operation of the L-3 AN/PSQ-20B ENVG night vision device.
Attaches to the joint with a latch that opens with a button.
