This VINTAGE signed MAXIMAL ART BY DESIGNER JOHN WIND FAUX PEARL & CRYSTAL STATEMENT BROOCH is in excellent condition. It is a gorgeous design and will be sure to elevate your style any way you wear it. It is approximately 6” long and 1.75” width at top of brooch.
In 1985 John moved to his hometown of Philadelphia and joined forces with his friend Hilary Jay to create a company they called Maximal Art. This piece is from that collection. Their looks hit the fashion world by storm, received tons of press, and was carried by the best stores in the world. Over the years John’s creative pieces have always been avant garde and highly unique. John developed a distinctive look that played off of Victorian jewelry in the 90’s. But his collections have been ever adaptive over 3 decades of success.
