Vintage mid 20th century hand carved portrait of a woman solid wood panel wall art signed
A lovely profile of a partially nude woman embracing what appears to be a dove.
This is a one of a kind piece. It's beautiful! It is signed 'Hand Carved by Chris C. Brown and dated December 1961.
17-3/4" x 7-1/2" x 3-4"
The wood is of very fine grain, possibly maple. However, we are not certain.
What appears to be an inclusion on the ladies lap, is part of the sculpture. We took many angles of it as it appears to may have been a small knot or a stubborn part of the wood.
It is in very good condition.
